  • Director of Product Engineering at General Semiconductor
  • Director of Product Marketing at Vishay's Power Diode Division (formerly General Semiconductor)
• Extensive experience in troubleshooting engineering problems at factories in Asia, Europe, and USA; resulting in improved yields, performance and quality
• Extensive experience in Product/Test Engineering of semiconductor components
• Extensive experience in Marketing Communications (MarCom) including datasheets, advertisements, data books, press releases, website, and technical literature
• Extensive experience in developing successful product strategies
• Extensive experience in project management, resulting in new & improved products
• Knowledge of intellectual property law
• Experienced at giving training presentations in Asia, Europe, and USA
• Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and Business. Bachelors degree in Physics.
• Management training courses taken:
  • Project Management, People Management, TQM, SPC, Reliability, Design of Experiments, Strategic Marketing, Team-oriented Problem Solving and computer software courses (e.g., EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Also, attended over 20 hours of Small Business Administration workshops
• Worldwide contacts throughout industry
• Experience as broker selling/buying components and used equipment
• Experience using various computer software tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc
• Over 20 years involvement with Standards Committees:
  • JEDEC-JC22: Test standards for Diodes, Rectifiers & TVS
  • JEDEC-JC11: Case Outline standards
  • IEEE: Surge Protective Devices Committee
• Member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu National Engineering Honor Societies
